Granny 3 Original is a browser-based survival horror game credited to Games Place. Its setting and characters draw on Granny 3, the third game in DVloper's Granny series. In this version, you explore a house, collect items, avoid its inhabitants, and work toward an escape within five days.

Granny, Grandpa, and Slendrina make exploration dangerous in different ways. Noise can draw Granny toward you, so think before running or handling objects near her. Grandpa is another threat to avoid as you move between rooms. Slendrina can appear suddenly; look away when you see her instead of keeping your view fixed on her.

The house is also an escape puzzle. Search carefully, remember where you found useful objects, and work out which areas you still need to open or investigate. A failed day can teach you where a safe route or important item is located. On your next attempt, use that knowledge to spend less time wandering.

Be careful with Teddy the bear. In this browser version, carrying Teddy can make Granny and Grandpa more aggressive, and taking it to the nursery is connected to a Slendrina ritual. Pick it up when you have a reason to use it and an idea of where you will go next.

Start by learning the rooms closest to your starting position. Use WASD to move and your mouse to look around. Search for items, inspect places that appear locked or inaccessible, and remember the routes between rooms. Your objective is to escape before the five-day limit ends.

Move quietly when you are exploring. Use Ctrl to crouch when you need to stay low, and Shift to run when putting distance between yourself and a pursuer matters more than staying quiet. Beds and wardrobes can provide hiding places in the referenced browser version, but reach one before you are seen entering it.

Use the left mouse button to pick up items or use a weapon, and the right mouse button to aim a weapon when you have one. A weapon can create an opportunity to get away; it does not replace finding the objects needed for your escape. If Slendrina appears, turn your view away promptly and continue when it is safe.

When a day ends, review what you learned. Return to promising rooms, try the items you found, and plan a more direct route. If the difficulty menu is available in your build, Practice mode is useful for learning the layout before attempting an escape with Granny and Grandpa active.
