Beginner Tip
Spend the opening minutes learning the school instead of immediately attempting an escape puzzle. Knowing where to hide is more valuable than finding a key you cannot safely use.

Game Introduction
Horror Nun is a first-person survival horror game that traps you inside the dark corridors of Eagle Junior High School. What was advertised as a disciplined summer experience has become a terrifying prison controlled by Sister Madeline, a relentless nun who patrols the building and reacts to suspicious sounds.
Escaping requires patience, observation, and careful planning. You must explore classrooms and hidden areas, find keys and tools, solve environmental puzzles, and remember where important objects have been left. Because you can carry only one item at a time, every journey across the school creates a new risk.
Noise is one of your greatest dangers. Running, interacting carelessly, or dropping an object can reveal your location. When Sister Madeline approaches, crouch, break her line of sight, or reach a locker and wait until the corridor becomes safe again.
You can play Horror Nun online on Lalo.games without installing a separate application. The game contains dark themes, frightening imagery, and chase sequences, so it belongs in Horror Games rather than Kids Games.
What Is Horror Nun?
Horror Nun is an HTML5 browser escape game developed and published by 1Games.IO. It was released on January 16, 2026, for desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers. 1Games.IO’s official game listing confirms the developer, release date, technology, and supported browser platforms.
The game places you inside Eagle Junior High School, where the dangerous Sister Madeline controls the corridors. Your objective is to explore the building, uncover useful clues, solve connected puzzles, and prepare an escape before the nun discovers you.
Gameplay combines stealth with resource management. You cannot collect every tool in a large inventory and carry it indefinitely. Instead, the one-item limit forces you to move objects deliberately, create safe storage locations, and remember where each tool was placed.
The setting and Sister Madeline originate from Keplerians’ Evil Nun series. However, the browser game titled Horror Nun is credited to 1Games.IO and should not be presented as the official Keplerians PC game Evil Nun: The Broken Mask. Keplerians’ official page confirms the original franchise setting, character, puzzles, and multiple escape concepts. Official Evil Nun information
How to Play Horror Nun
Begin by exploring the closest rooms and learning the school’s basic layout. Note the positions of lockers, vents, connecting hallways, dead ends, and rooms where you can temporarily leave useful items.
Search desks, drawers, cabinets, classrooms, and hidden spaces for keys, tools, codes, and environmental clues. Some doors require a direct key, while others depend on completing several connected tasks.
Use E or the left mouse button when an interaction becomes available. If you are already holding an object, press G to place it on the ground before collecting something else.
Move slowly whenever Sister Madeline is nearby. Crouching reduces the chance of making noise, while sprinting should be reserved for emergencies or movement through areas you already know are safe.
When you hear approaching footsteps, avoid crossing an exposed corridor. Enter a locker, move into a vent, hide beneath suitable furniture, or place a solid obstacle between yourself and the nun.
Continue solving objectives until you have prepared an available escape route. Different exits may require different objects, so focus on one plan rather than transporting unrelated tools across the entire school.
Characters, Tools and Hazards
Sister Madeline
Sister Madeline is the principal threat roaming Eagle Junior High School. She listens for disturbances, follows suspicious sounds, and punishes players who remain exposed when she enters a room.
Her patrol makes every item search dangerous. Before opening drawers or moving through a noisy area, identify the nearest hiding place and an alternative exit.
The character originates in Keplerians’ Evil Nun franchise, where she is depicted as a possessed nun carrying a large hammer. The exact behavior and presentation may differ in the 1Games.IO browser adaptation.
The Trapped Children
The school’s story refers to children who were brought to the summer camp and never escaped. Their clues and hidden presence provide context for Sister Madeline’s past and the disturbing events inside the building.
Follow story information carefully, but avoid assuming every sound is only background decoration. Some clues may guide you toward a new room or puzzle objective.
Keys and Tools
Keys open specific doors or containers, while mechanical tools help complete environmental tasks. Since the game limits you to one carried item, learning which tool belongs to which area is essential.
Leave tools in memorable places rather than dropping them randomly. A central room with several exits can work as a temporary collection point, provided Sister Madeline does not patrol it too frequently.
Codes and Puzzle Clues
Some locked areas require more than an ordinary key. Inspect walls, papers, objects, and nearby rooms for patterns or codes that might connect to a mechanism elsewhere in the school.
Remember that a clue may be useful later. If the game does not provide a notebook, write down important numbers or symbols outside the game.
Lockers and Vents
Lockers offer temporary protection when Sister Madeline enters a corridor. Ventilation routes can also provide alternative movement between parts of the school.
Hiding should create an opportunity to relocate, not become your entire strategy. Wait until the footsteps move away, then continue working toward the escape.

Levels and Gameplay
Horror Nun uses a connected school environment rather than a simple list of short levels. Progress comes from opening new areas, solving puzzles, and learning how different sections of the building connect.
The early game should be used for reconnaissance. Explore nearby rooms, identify hiding places, and collect information before attempting a long or dangerous objective.
Later tasks require more movement across the school. An item found in one room may be needed on another floor or inside a previously locked area. The one-item system turns these trips into strategic decisions.
Sister Madeline’s patrol prevents you from searching freely. If she blocks the direct route, wait, crouch, or take a longer path rather than forcing an encounter.
Competitors describe vehicle and aerial escape routes in the browser version, but their exact requirements should be verified through a complete Lalo.games playthrough before publishing a detailed walkthrough. The safest description is that the game provides different escape objectives requiring separate tools and puzzle chains.

Tips and Tricks
Pro Tip
Create a tool hub in a central room. Place unrelated items there so you can retrieve them later without searching the original rooms again.
Common Mistake
Dropping an important object in a dark or unfamiliar corridor. Without an inventory log or map marker, it may be difficult to find again.
Strategy Tip
Use sound deliberately. If the game allows an object to create noise, triggering it away from your intended route may draw Sister Madeline toward the wrong area.
Developer Insight
Lalo.games considers the one-item inventory the feature that gives Horror Nun its strategic identity. The challenge is not simply finding objects—it is deciding where to leave them, when to transport them, and which escape plan deserves your attention first.
