Tip 1
Watch a moving trap complete one cycle before trying to cross it.
Vex 4
Vex 4 is a fast stickman parkour game built around one question: can you reach the exit without letting a trap catch you? Run across platforms, jump over spikes, slide beneath low obstacles, climb walls, and swim through hazardous sections. Each act introduces new routes to learn and tighter moments to time.
This fourth entry in the Vex series includes nine main acts, harder challenges, checkpoints, and extra ways to test your movement. A failed jump sends you back to try again, but each attempt shows you more of the route. Play Vex 4 online on Lalo.games and work your way from careful first runs to faster, cleaner finishes.
Vex 4 is a 2D action platformer where you guide a stickman through obstacle-filled stages called acts. Reaching the exit takes more than running forward. You need to judge distances, watch moving hazards, and choose whether to jump, slide, climb, or wait. Its simple stickman visuals make the path easy to read, while the traps make every decision matter.
The game contains nine acts and corresponding Hard Mode challenges. Standard acts teach you the layouts and movement needed to progress. Harder versions give experienced players another reason to revisit them. Vexation and the Challenge Room add further challenges beyond the main acts.
Expect spikes, spinning saws, narrow openings, moving obstacles, and water sections. A jump that clears one hazard might land directly in another, so look at the space where you will land before taking off. Red flag checkpoints help you recover after a mistake without replaying the whole act.
Vex 4 is particularly satisfying when a difficult section finally becomes familiar. On your first attempt, a sequence of slides and jumps may seem too fast. After a few tries, you begin to recognize when each hazard moves and where your stickman needs to be. That learning process is the heart of this skill-based parkour game.
Choose an available act and enter its starting point. Use WASD or the arrow keys to move through the level. Press W or Up Arrow to jump; press S or Down Arrow to crouch and slide under low obstacles. Use your movement to approach walls and climb where the level allows it.
Work toward the exit while avoiding spikes, blades, and other traps. Some obstacles move through a repeating pattern. Stop somewhere safe, watch a full cycle, and cross when the opening appears. In water sections, allow for a different pace than you would use on dry ground.
Touch a checkpoint flag when you reach one. If the next section defeats you, you can retry from that checkpoint. Once you know an act's route, try to complete it with fewer mistakes or take on its harder challenge. The optional ghost recorder, when available in your version, can help you compare a new run with an earlier attempt.
Nine stickman parkour acts: Progress through courses that test your jumping, sliding, climbing, and timing.
Hard Mode challenges: Return to acts for a tougher test after you have learned the standard routes.
Varied movement: Run and jump across platforms, slide through low gaps, climb walls, and swim through water sections.
Mechanical traps: Avoid spikes, spinning saws, and other hazards by reading their placement and movement.
Checkpoint flags: Reach a flag to create a useful restart point during a difficult act.
Extra challenges: Take on Vexation and the Challenge Room after exploring the main acts.
Ghost recorder: Supported versions let you review a recorded run while working on your speed and consistency.

Watch a moving trap complete one cycle before trying to cross it.
Look at your landing spot before jumping over a saw or spike pit.
Slide early enough to pass completely beneath a low obstacle.
Touch checkpoint flags even when the next stretch looks easy.
Learn one difficult section at a time instead of rushing the whole act.
Adjust your timing when you enter water
movement feels different from running on land.
Complete the standard route consistently before trying its harder challenge.
Use the ghost recorder, if your version includes it, to see where a faster run loses time.
Vex 4 builds its challenge around precise movement and short cycles of trying, failing, and improving. Checkpoints keep a difficult act manageable, while Hard Mode gives players a reason to return after reaching the exit.
